It wasn’t until 2017, when I was on holiday, pregnant and really uncomfortable in what I was wearing, that I finally made a promise to myself to find a better way of creating comfortable, stylish clothing for women that would make you feel fabulous no matter what your size or stage of life you are in. Pregnant or not, you still want to look and feel fabulous!

When I got home, I set out to design & create the ultimate range of figure-enhancing dresses for women of all sizes. I decided to call the company the Perfect Dress Company as the dresses were going to be perfect. The first range that we launched in 2019 was our luxe range of Figure Flattering Dresses which are dresses with clever tailoring designed to slim, sculpt and contour your shape in seconds. The full range of Figure Flattering Dresses take you from everyday office wear to cocktails with friends, date nights to weddings, and any occasion where you want to look and feel amazing.

Our Figure Flattering Dresses are based on classic pieces and staples that every woman needs in her wardrobe. These pieces are all designed to work harder for you. You work hard, and your clothes should work hard too! When designing this range, we wanted to make sure there were multiple ways to wear and style these pieces so that you get as much wear out of them as possible.

The next range surfaced in early 2020 when a few of my friends were pregnant and it took me back to that holiday where my maternity wear was not only uncomfortable it was really unflattering too. I realised when I was pregnant, I was spending lots of money on maternity wear I would never wear again. There were no stylish, flattering dresses I bought which I could wear afterwards too. 

After I had my gorgeous daughter Sophia, although I loved my body for the amazing gift it had given me, my body just wasn’t the same as it used to be. My tummy was swollen, and I still looked pregnant, which was really difficult to get used to. As a new mother I wanted to go out and show off my baby, but my self-confidence was at an all-time low.

This is why I launched our Bump to Baby range of dresses, designed to fit you throughout every stage of your pregnancy and afterwards too. As women our bodies are always changing, and we believe fashion should be designed to fit, flatter and complement your bodies no matter what your shape or size is.

Just because you’re pregnant or you’ve just had a baby, it doesn’t mean that you don’t want to look or feel amazing! Our Bump to Baby range is super stylish, practical and machine washable, yet unbelievably comfortable.

Our Bump to Baby dress designs are based on our Figure Flattering Dresses but of course, the Bump to Baby range is not designed to slim or hide your beautiful baby bump, the dresses have been created to make you feel comfortable, confident and design tweaks have been made to enhance your gorgeous bump and figure. We have kept the same look but added technical design elements devised to fit you throughout every stage of your pregnancy, accentuate that beautiful growing bump and support and flatter your post-natal body too. The best thing about them is that you can wear them after your pregnancy and for years to come too!

To complement our dress collections, we have also launched our Darcy Rose Meaningful Jewellery collection. I believe jewellery, the same as fashion, has the power to transform the way us women feel about ourselves. With our luxury gemstone collection each semi-precious stone has been selected for its own unique and powerful meaning. Each beautiful piece comes with its own jewellery card explaining the significance of the stone. I truly believe that to buy and treat yourself or a loved one to something with thought and meaning behind it is super special.
